Arrow keys, the pad or a swipe to walk. Space, tap or the red button to set a bomb.

The pause screen with joystick or D-pad, three control sizes and a left-handed bomb button

Controls that do what you meant

The joystick appears wherever your thumb lands and follows it if it drifts. Turn a little early at a corner and Wick slides round it for you.

  • Joystick or D-pad, in three sizes.
  • Bomb button on either side.
  • Game controllers and keyboards work too.
The worlds map: Mushroom Grove half lit along its fuse, Ember Forge waiting

Twelve worlds, and something new in each

Brickyard, Frost Mine, Mushroom Grove, Ember Forge and eight more, each with its own look and a boss at the end.

Every world brings a new creature: one that rushes you on sight, one that floats through walls, one that splits in two. After the last world, endless stages keep coming.

The Workshop with upgrades for bombs, blast range, speed, hearts and a starting shield

A hit costs a heart, not your power-ups

Every stage gives you three hearts. Get caught and you lose one, but you keep every bomb, blast and boot you've picked up.

Coins buy permanent Workshop upgrades, so every stage starts a little stronger. There are no lives to run out of, and any cleared stage can be replayed for more stars.

A stage cleared in 54 seconds with three stars and 20 coins

Straight on to the next stage

Blastwick never stops you between stages with a full-screen ad. A small banner sits outside the maze, and videos only play when you choose one for coins, a second chance or double rewards.

Light the first fuse.
